Professor Li MA, Professor of Organization and Strategic Management at Guanghua School of Management, Peking University will deliver a sample class titled “Managing Foreign Firms: Whose Way?”, following welcome remarks by Dr. Péter Medgyessy, former Prime Minister of Hungary and Honorary President of the Central and Eastern European Chinese Science and Technology Exchange Association.
Professor MA will also hold an information session and share with you the program’s overview, the curriculum structure, and the admission criteria.

Honorary President of The Central and Eastern European Chinese Science and Technology Exchange Association
Péter Medgyessy, former Prime Minister of Hungary, currently serves as the Honorary President of the Central and Eastern Europe-China Science and Technology Exchange Association. He holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Political Science and Economics at the Budapest University of Economics. His distinguished career includes serving as a board member for prominent enterprises such as the Hungarian Oil and Gas Company (MOL Group). Additionally, he has been deeply involved in international affairs, holding positions as a member of the World Economic Forum's Advisory Board and Honorary Chairman of the Hungary-Hong Kong Business Association. He has long been dedicated to fostering economic and trade cooperation between Hungary and China.

Dr. MA Li is a professor at Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. He obtained his Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis, and his undergraduate and master’s degrees in Tsinghua University. He has also taught full time at Tsinghua University, and part time at Washington University in St. Louis in the United States and Yonsei University in Korea. He studies negotiation, conflict management, and participative management, especially in international contexts. His publications appear in journals such as MIT Sloan Management Review, Leadership Quarterly, Human Relations, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Management and Organization Review, Journal of International Business Studies, Harvard Business Review Digital Articles, Negotiation Journal, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, International Journal of Human Resource Management, and a number of Chinese academic journals.
